Join Jackson & Autumn of SEVEN CHAGA at the Old Saw Mill for a unique event where you'll learn all about the fascinating process of harvesting and crafting chaga
Discover the secrets of this medicinal mushroom, we will cover all topics from sustainable foraging practices to practical uses and potential benefits of this incredible medicine
You will then be taken out into the wilds of Deeside to actually look for and with Jackson's expertise, consciously forage some chaga for yourself
On your return to the Saw Mill, Autumn will guide you in making your own bottle of chaga extraction to take home with you

CHAGA GREETING
11.00am - 12.00pm
Your small and intimate group will meet at the Old Saw Mill where you will receive a chaga tea ritual with a short introduction to chaga and a grounding meditation
FORAGING EXPERIENCE
12.00pm - 1.30pm
You will then be taken out into the wilds of Deeside and some of her oldest birch forests - here Jackson will talk in depth on finding chaga and how chaga can be sustainably foraged in such a way to preserve its longevity here in Scotland
CHAGA INSPIRED LUNCH
1.30pm - 2.30pm
On your return to the Saw Mill, you will be served a hearty healthy lunch, made specially for this event by Tim at Nourished & Refuelled using chaga and other locally sourced ingredients
MEDICINE MAKING
2.30pm - 3.30pm
You will then be guided in the process preparing and drying your chaga, before making your own 50ml bottle of chaga extraction (using either alcohol or apple cider vinegar, depending on your preference) to take home with you
